Regulation of Ascent

· Reporting to the clerk at the entrance and at the exit . Officers will check your luggage and equipment before and after you SIMAKSI ascent .

· Illegal to take animals and plants from outside the region into TNGGP .

· Prohibited feed the animals .

· Not allowed to make a fire in the region , except in locations that are already permitted .

· Non- destructive , move , doodling facilities and infrastructure in the region .

· Non- picking , moving , and taking plants from the region .

· Do not walk outside the lines / main track which has been determined .

· Do not throw garbage inside and leave the area , take your trash when it comes down from the mountain .

· Prohibited bring shampoo , soap , toothpaste and other detergent ingredients that can pollute ground water .

· Prohibited bring radios , musical instruments , alcohol , and drugs into the area .

For anyone who wants to climb to Mount Gede and Pangrango SIMAKSI obliged to obtain a permit in the Great Hall of the Office of the National Park of Mount Gede Pangrango ( TNGGP ) to make booking in advance . The maximum long ascent is 2 days 1 night .

To reduce the negative impact on the environment and that a satisfactory experience while climbing , then TNGGP establishes a quota , which is 600 climbers per day through 3 entrances to the division : Cibodas 300 people , Gunung Putri 200 people , and 100 people Selabintana .
